 The national major project with Nanjing Yangtze River
Second Bridge is made of "two-bridges and one-road" with
12.517km long, among which steel-box girder bridge is the key
projects in the construction item of the bridge system with 2,938m
long. With steel-box girded of situated the main sea-route of Yantze River is cable-stayed bridge
of double-tower and double-tightwire with 1,238m long, the spans
distributes 58.5+246.5+628+246.5+58.5 of continual steel-box girders
with 5 arches and 628m long of main span. It ranks third in the
world.
Main girder is the flat streamline steel-box girder
with 3.5m height and 38.2m width, batter drainage of 2% is placed
symmetrical, 93 segments are divided on the longitudinal direction of
whole bridge with 15m long and 270t weight on every standard section.
The used main meterial is 16Mnq(WQ490E) and the amounts of steel meterial
used in the bridge is 23,000t.
The steel-box girder fabricated has adopted the
cutting technique without remaining amount, longitudinal rid
technique without saddle-backed plate assembly, welding technique
with inverse distortion and multi-segment matching assembly technique
of inner tube with transverse clapboard according to advanced level
of steel girder manufactured in the world. To guarantee the stability
of productive quality, improve productive efficiency and make bridge
close up at 8, July 2000 in advance.
